Programme overview

In Hasbegen-Gaste head office and main factory:

• Extensive machinery exhibition in the marquee
• Special exhibition '75 years of AMAZONE seed drills’
• Vintage machinery show
• "Walk of Innovation" tour every hour in the ACTIVE Centre with a large number of new products and expert advice
• Helicopter tours, fun area with bouncy castle, nail-driving, goal scoring, refreshments

• Factory tours to include fertiliser test laboratory and spreading hall (children under 14 only with parent/guardian, duration approx. 1 hour, no disabled access)

10:30

• Demonstration presenting the innovations in soil tillage, seeding, fertilising, plant protection and groundcare

11:30

• Demonstration: AMAZONE machinery in practice

13:30

• Live auction of approx. 50 nearly-new AMAZONE machines by EURO AUCTIONS
  • Overview of the machines, detailed instructions and register as bidder

15:30

• Demonstration presenting the innovations in soil tillage, seeding, fertilising, plant protection and groundcare

• Demonstration: AMAZONE machinery in practice

• "From field to the tent" with live band and the AMAZONE team, end of the event around 22:00 

In Leeden spare parts centre and Used Machinery Centre:

• Tour of the ultra-modern spare parts centre

Trials centre in Wambergen:

• Visit to the new AMAZONE Museum 
• Tour of the field trials 
• Controlled Row Farming – row-based cultivation concept for winter wheat, winter rape and maize
• Variable crop management for sowing, fertilisation and plant protection in wheat
• Mixed farming – comparison of sowing techniques: optimum placement of spring peas and spring barley 
• Comparison between mulch and direct sowing in winter barley

Seeding

Precea precision air seeder with Central Seed Supply seed delivery system, Precea with FertiSpot pin-point fertiliser application, Cirrus 04 large-area seed drill with distributor head for single row shut-off

Electronics & SmartFarming

AmaTron 4 ISOBUS terminal with additional functions for precision agriculture (e.g. Multi-Storey, SpotSpraying), GPS ScenarioControl for the automation of repetitive work routines, part-area, site-specific cultivation with application maps and N-sensors
