New value for money rotary harrow KE140

The new Amazone KE 140 complements the existing range of Amazone rotary harrows. The double skinned trough, forged one-piece rotor shaft and tine carriers make the KE 140 incredibly strong. Optimum passage of soil and straw is ensured by the large clearance above the tine carriers, making it ideal even in min-till situations.

The hardened steel tines with their unique pin and lynch pin fixing can be changed quickly and easily without any tools. The tine breaks the soil clods along their natural weak points preventing smearing and maintaining soil structure.

The exchange speed change gearbox enables the required tine speed to be set to match soil conditions. The PTO shaft, fitted with slip clutch protection, mounts to the rear of the gearbox allowing an elongated shaft at a favourable PTO shaft angle and an optional through drive is available for operation with pneumatic seed drills.

Adjustable sprung side plates prevent soil from ridging at the sides.

Situated behind the rotors is a levelling bar holding soil into the tines, evening out the soil to provide the ideal conditions for reconsolidation by the following roller. Depending on the type of operation required, the KE 140 can be combined with an open cage roller, tooth packer, wedge ring or tyre packer roller.

All Amazone tillage equipment is tested on the brutal stone torture track under maximum load to guarantee reliability in all kinds of different operational conditions.
