The two new sized spreader base units expand the range from capacities of 300litres right through to 1000litres.
The smaller base unit of 300litres can be fitted with either one or two S130 extensions to allow capacities of 300, 430 & 560litres respectively. The larger base unit of 750litres can be fitted with one S250 extension to take a maximum capacity of 1000litres. The newly designed robust frame used on both base units is capable of carrying 1300kg of material and the round, steep walled hopper ensures an optimum flow of the spreading material down to the shutter.
As on the previous E + S, the patented shutter design remains the same allowing the accurate metering of a wide range of spread rates making the spreader ideal for not only very small quantities, but also for large rates of application such as sand on sports fields and golf courses including greens. The simple spread fan can be swivelled to provide spread to the left, right or both sides of the machine
Important components such as the hopper bottom, shutter slide, setting plate and the adjustable spread width reducer are all made from stainless steel for high longevity in the harsh environment of winter spreading. These spreading components can be easily removed for maintenance without tools and without removing the hopper, a further example of the versatility, strength and flexibility of the new E + S winter spreader from AMAZONE.
Options of hopper cover, electric control of spread width reduction, road lighting, hydraulic disc drive and hydraulic double acting shutter control are available.
