KRONE small rotary tedders with a additional jockey wheel

Effective immediately, Krone is offering this optional equipment with a additional jockey wheel for small rotary tedders models KW 4.65, KW 5.35 and KW 6.05 (4.6 m to 6 m working width). The new jockey wheel is especially suitable for use in alpine conditions, since it significantly improves soil adaptation and quality of work in “rough” terrain. The tedder always works at the exact selected working height. This prevents crop contamination. The jockey wheel can be retrofitted easily, and its height and position can be adjusted too. The chain top link provide a genuine three-point contour tracking system near the point where the tines contact the crop.

The new jockey wheel offers a number of advantages: It runs exactly between the tractor and tedder track. The wheel does not “scrub” when cornering. Since all Krone tedders in this series are equipped as standard with oversize balloon tyres (16.6/50 x 8) the jockey wheel has the same tyre size too. Sturdy anti-wrap guards ensure you can work problem free, even in the most difficult conditions.

For the new season, Krone is offering rotary tedders with working widths from 4.6 to 15 metres. Equipped with rugged tubular profile tine arms, very sturdy Super-C tines, a border spreading mechanism (a standard feature) and simple control units, Krone offers a wide range of machines designed for all kinds of practical applications. Even when working with difficult crop levels, they ensure neat and exact tedding and turning work.
