New Cenius Cultivator at Cereals 2004

The all new Cenius cultivator offers the smaller grower an all-purpose multi-functional tine and disc cultivator for year round use. Whether for greening up stubbles after the combine, deeper cultivations down to 20cm or for seedbed preparation following the plough the Cenius is the solution to modern farming’s needs. Three rows of heavy duty spring tines at a 20cm spacing will, when fitted with a 18cm wide stubble share move the full surface area and as the depth of work increases these shares can be easily exchanged, using the new knock-on Vario-Clip system, for narrower points offering more inversion.

Depth control of both the loosening tines and the levelling discs, which are at a fixed angle to provide the best of crumbling and levelling without smearing or panning the soil, is provided by Amazone's proven eccentric depth block,

The 580mm rear wedge ring roller not only provides accurate depth control of the tines and the intermediate two rows of levelling discs but as well consolidates the seedbed in strips giving good moisture retention, maintaining soil structure and allows the airflow in the soil surface to speed up the straw breakdown process.

On the headlands the machine is three-point linkage mounted and so is highly manoeuvrable and avoids the headland compaction that can be caused by machines turning on a rear roller.

Available in a 3m rigid working width power requirement is from 125HP.
