Amazone are looking to fill three exciting office-based positions:

The first position is as Technical Sales Officer.
Working in a small team and based at our Harworth headquarters, the role involves managing the complete aspect of our sales order processing function for our nationwide dealer network. The candidate will fully understand the technical elements of both the whole goods and the individual parts behind them to enable them to support the end user as well as our dealer network. They will also be able to proactively advise on the order status in support of the Amazone field staff.
The candidate will be qualified in Maths and English to NVQ2 or equivalent, be a team player and be used to offering a first-class customer service. They should have excellent communication skills, both written and on the phone, be used to working to tight deadlines and display a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. They should also be IT-literate especially in in the use of Microsoft Office and in particular Excel. A technical background with a knowledge of the agricultural industry and arable farming would be an advantage; as would the ability to speak German. Full training will be given with regard to the Amazone product range.
The hours are 42.5 hours Monday-Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm and the salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.


The second position is as Sales Administration Officer.
Again working in that small team and based at our Harworth headquarters, the role involves undertaking whole goods and parts sales order processing for our nationwide dealer network. The candidate will provide support to colleagues both in the field and in the office and handle incoming calls in a timely and professional manner.
The candidate will ideally have experience of working in a technical parts environment and be qualified in Maths and English to GCSE or equivalent, be a team player and be used to offering a first-class customer service. A knowledge of the German language would also be an advantage. They should have excellent communication skills, both written and on the phone, be used to working to tight deadlines and display a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. They should also be IT-literate especially in in the use of Microsoft Office and in particular Excel.
Full training will be given with regard to the Amazone product range. The hours are 42.5 hours Monday-Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm and the salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.

The third role is as office-based Workshop Engineer.
The position is offered as a short-term contract on the basis of a 4-6 month period. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, upgrade and repair of the whole range of Amazone machinery. The role will include repair work to equipment as required, preparing demonstration machinery for use in the field and prepping new machines for use at national shows and exhibitions.

The candidate will have a strong, practical engineering background, although not necessarily in agriculture, and be used to working in a workshop environment. They should be able to display competence in all aspects of machine repair to an excellent standard. A professional approach when dealing with colleagues and customers is paramount; as is working to within all appropriate health and safety regulations.
The role is for 42.5 hours per week, mostly Monday-Friday.

We still have the opportunity to join our company as an apprentice. The chosen candidate will experience work in all departments to get a feel for the business and if successful we would hope to offer you a permanent role in the business.

You will undertake a 3-month period in each department undertaking specific tasks allocated by the departmental manager.

• Office administration
• After sales customer support
• Logistics – stores and transport
• Sales and marketing

During your time in each department the specific tasks and responsibilities will depend on the requirements of the business at the time.

You will also undertake a business apprenticeship framework covering the appropriate modules.
