Amazone's new exhibition unit kicks off the 2012 show season
20 January 2012 LAMMA 2012 gave Amazone Ltd the chance to unveil their new exhibition unit. Showing their continuing support of British agriculture with this major investment, the unit was designed by DWT Trailers and built by Towmaster in Wigan. The 5.5 m tri-axle trailer will be at the heart of Amazone’s hospitality at this year’s show and exhibitions, and not just this year we hope, but for many years to come. The state-of-the-art unit extends both rearwards with a pull out ‘pod’ as well as the fold-down front porch with covered in sides, a welcome addition for the chilly north-west breeze at LAMMA this week.
The interior provides seating in two groups, one at the front for three people, and at the rear for five and yet still leave ample floor space for further discussions. The attached galley gives ample space for providing either hot or cold refreshments depending on the time of year. At LAMMA this week, there was more of the former requested!
Adrian Winnett, general manager of Amazone Ltd went on to explain the thinking behind the investment ‘with our product range becoming increasingly complex as hi-tech solutions in agriculture become the norm now in all aspects of spreading, spraying and drilling, there is a need to make sure we fully inform our end customers of what Amazone have to offer. The new exhibition unit gives us the opportunity, at shows and exhibitions across Britain, to sit with them, face to face, and discuss how our kit can revolutionise their business’ With full lighting throughout, which was handy for the 7.30am starts at LAMMA, and plasma TV for running video of the machinery in action, the unit can be used all year round for both Groundcare and agricultural events.
Decked out in the familiar green and orange livery, and with shows coming up in all parts north, south, east, and west in the country, there will be ample chance to come and join us and try it for size. Amazone Ltd look forward to seeing you at a show near you.
