Sprayer road shows - July 2010
01 June 2010
'Drive & Feel' day II, West Mid Tractors - July 1st 2010 9am till 4pm
Second in a series of events to introduce hi-tech spraying equipment to farmers and growers across Britain, West Mid Tractors, Unit 3, Forton West Farm, Montfort Bridge, Shrewsbury, SY4 1ES plays host to the next sprayer road show. Chris Sankey, West Mid Tractors explains "we are delighted to be hosting this event which gives both sprayer operators and decision makers the chance to try before you buy. Technology is always changing and so it is difficult for sprayer operators to keep ahead of the game but having the chance to sit on the seat in the field and to have a go for yourself keeps everyone abreast of those changes". Registered as a technical event for both NRoSO and BASIS points the format of the day is to come and try modern spraying technology for oneself.
On tractors, amongst others, will be: the state of the art, flagship trailed sprayer; the UX Super, the flexible small self-propelled UF1801 with FT1001 front tank and the value for money UG 3000 trailer.
The UX Super, with Super-L boom, automatic boom height control and auto-boom shut-off using the GPS-Switch in-cab GPS controller offers the optimum in accurate chemical application with minimal losses through either drift or overlap on headlands. The UF 1801 has the integrated front tank that makes a easily dismounted wrap-around sprayer possible with 2800 litre capacity and yet hassle-free filling and mixing from one single fill port and induction bowl. In the field the weight transfer is kept at the perfect balance by the use of the Flow-Control electronics in conjunction with AMATRON+, Amazone's multi-functional machine controller. Filling, mixing and cleaning are again controlled in-cab by modern electronics for quicker, more efficient wash-out processes.
At the lower specification end; also for one to 'Drive and Feel' are both the usual UF1201 mounted sprayer and entry-level UG 3000 Special trailer, both also designated with the 'Speed-Spraying' mark for high turnaround times, quicker filling and in-field faster forward speeds due to the renowned Amazone boom ride characteristics, pressurised recirculation systems and high pump capacities with ample agitation.
To catch up on modern nozzle technology and how technology can ease the spraying bottleneck then come and join us at West Mid Tractors on Thursday 1st July 2010 between 9am and 4pm where the Amazone product specialists will be on hand to guide you in the field and answer your questions back in the yard. Refreshments available.
